Just remember that Australia is close to the end.
Also sucks that they have to go to commercial every few countries. And then when they get back they just give you a quick highlight of what happened. Dumb television IMO. But yeah the opening ceremony was excellent, I loved the part with the kung fu fighters, creating the circles, etc.

Well with ~650 olympians, USA narrowly defeats China and wins the Olympic Opening Ceremony. USA! USA! USA!
That was an epic, and beautiful opening ceremony. I'm sad that I couldn't see all of it because of network television (I believe it was abridged right?). The people-powered columns were awesome.
I was thinking how London can put on a show that won't pale by comparison to this. Since I have no idea how to top this kind of spectacle, I think they should just turn up the star power to 11. If any country can blow you away w/ music superstars, it's the UK.
98% that U2 is involved. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! YEAHHHHHHHHH!</div>

BTW guys I'm a Chinese-American and have always been proud to be chinese, and I've gone back a few times, but watching my country put on a show last night and seeing all the people, the history...I teared up, I'm not gonna lie. I was so proud last night to be Chinese.
