He did play well, but I feel like our offense is so built around speed, and with DAT out I think Tyner is more well-suited to our offense. I still think Marshall is more of a bruiser, which is great, I think we need one of those too.... but we've missed having that quick burst through the hole for huge yardage. Marshall doesn't really do that.

looks can be deceiving... Auburn coaches/fans used to say Bo Jackson looked like he wasn't running hard but the clock the results said different. Marshall's track times are better then LMJ's or Kenyon's... did they lack a burst too? I truly think BM is a great college back and will continue to be very productive.... same goes for Tyner. There were a couple of runs where I thought he showed great patience on sweeps allowing his blockers to engage before gashing the D

This fanbase has it real good. 5th straight game of reigning in the horses in the 2nd half with 50+ on the scoreboard, yet everyone seems bitchy. The pre-season is now over, can't wait to ramp up and christen the revamped Fusky stadium with a epic 10th straight beatdown

I want your thoughts on the final play STOMP.

I understand that the classy thing is to run out the clock. I get that. I just feel that Ford had earned the TD. They were on the 1 yard line. That had to be frustrating to get that close.

Often two opposite things can be true. While Ford had earned a TD shot, I'm definitely on board with keeping it classy San Diego. A lopsided loss in front of the home fans is bad enough. Piling it on late in games is the sort of thing that inspires cheap shots from your opponents. Having risen up from a walk on to a full ride contributor on a great team, I'm hoping Ayele has things in perspective

Sorry, guys. ABM & I were at the beach and couldn't get the game on TV- only radio. Two things I will say is that I'd really like to see us establish the run more early on as MM always gets off to a slow start and there is no excuse for such poor defense in the first half against a team of this caliber. If we do that against UW, Stanford or UCLA we probably get smoked.
