I'll be honest, I was not enthused when Nix transferred here. I thought he was just someone who didn't get what he wanted at the place his daddy was a legend. He didn't want to be here, he was just here because he could get minutes vs sitting on the bench at Auburn. I was so wrong. He gave the Ducks everything he had. Not just playing to get an NFL gig. He was a leader. He was a competitor. He put the Ducks first. There was never a game I didn't think he gave the team everything he could. Thank you Mr Nix!
Im stoked for B1G play and a college football playoff next year. I’d rather a stout big 10. Michigan and UW will take a big hit next year. Penn St will always be offensively inept. Iowa may be decent?
Tough weekend for Ducks Men's basketball. Lost to Colorado (have lost 10 of their last 11 there) and Utah on the road, fall into a three way tie for third in Pac12. Dante had a really good game today against Utah, on both ends of the court, but missed a free throw with 2 seconds left with a chance to tie the game. (then made the second which he was trying to miss. ) Shelsted getting less minutes all the time. His defense is not that good. Evans still not showing much. Missed a real bunny with no one on him late in the game. Today's game was encouraging for me though. I think they will be a really good team by tournament time.
The voice guy couldn't be more annoying, but Stewart is so quick in those drills. The offense looks like they'll have a strong line/run game to counter balance an experienced QB with many great receiving options. On paper, the biggest question seems the DLine as they've lost a lot so new guys will have to step up. They have plenty of highly rated guys who should be up to it, this position group could turn out to be a strength as well. Can not wait STOMP
Iowa is usually complete garbage on offense and they’re losing their punter which is major for them Wisconsin could be a sleeper team
They did add one of the highest rated portal guys to their OLine, maybe they won't have to punt so much? https://n.rivals.com/content/athletes/kadyn-proctor-262133?view=cv STOMP
We will see who they add as OC I know they added Proctor but I don’t see him changing things much. Part of it is Ferentz offensive philosophy. They’re not gonna go for it on 4th down if it would potentially give the other team good field position and they’re not gonna risk turnovers.
Whatever slim chance Oregon had at landing him went away when Cornelius announced his return, as they have both starting Tackle spots covered. I'm just glad Kadyn didn't just go to another super team STOMP
Following some All Star camps, rivals released their final rankings of the HS guys today. Combined with the transfer portal adds they have the Duckies at #3 overall STOMP
