If I'm an NFL team not sure Id want a QB that jumps into mom's arms after a loss. Dont care how big a game it is. QB's have to have more composure than that, imo.
I don't know about "several million". I've seen rumors of around a million/year. But I wouldn't rule it out by rules, supposedly, NIL contracts can not include any incentive clauses nor have any punitive reduction for injury absence. One clause that is allowed, again supposedly, is a cancellation of the NIL contract if the player transfers to another team my assumption would be that most of the NIL money has already been paid. And he'll likely be the 1st-3rd pick in the draft. So he's looking at signing for at least 40M with a 25-26M signing bonus. And depending on where he signs, he could be looking at 30-50M in endorsement contracts. if he plays and blows out an ACL or dislocates his throwing shoulder, he could be losing 35-50M over his first 3-4 years in the league. Insurance will cover some of that but not all, and there's no insurance for lost endorsement money. Again, I doubt he shuts it down now...it's a bad look. But if he did I think NFL teams would account for him making a decision based upon his future

That’s why I think this team is the first one that could legit have a shot at winning it all. The defense is the difference. I’m gonna be pissed if we make it to the PAC championship and beat Washington and don’t get into the playoff.
If none of the current top 4 lose a game and stay undefeated it would be very hard to make a case. Also Alabama is looming. I don’t see them getting in. Just should never have lost that game. Inexcusable. Also what stops them from choosing a one loss Huskies team?

Arizona is 2 OT losses away from being 7-1. Jed Fisch is a good coach. Somewhat lucky we dodged them on the schedule this year.
That would be awfully hard to do considering Michigan and tOSU play each other. Why would they choose Washington over the team that would beat them in the PAC championship?
That was pointed out already and answered. Now on the second part. Why would they vote Oregon or Washington over a team that lost to another top 4 team? Doesn’t make sense at all? Hope they do but why would they?
One possible reason that has been discussed nationally is Michigan's schedule. It has been horrible to this point. The Pac-12 is a better-rated conference for once. I am not saying it is true or not, but that is one reason that has been discussed all year long.
I think they have played 5 straight games against ranked opponents and have won the last three. The first time they have ever beat three ranked opponents in three weeks. My daughter and the rest of the student body have rushed the field two weeks in a rough. The last home game they have is against Utah. The biggest thing seems to be when their qb was hurt and this young kid has come in and down great.
So if Michigan is a pretender they lose next week to Penn State and this conversation is Mute. Also if Ohio St boat races them Oregon has a great chance if they can beat both Washington and the zebras in Los Vegas. That would make sense.
