Oregon or Michigan St make sense here. Moore is from Michigan and Smith has no QBs on the roster, so starting for the Spartans would seem like a lock.
Michigan is my Alma Mater but I don’t care about them much. Outside of the Fab Five which were my class, I’ve never felt connected to them. I grew up around the corner from Autzen. Moved there in 1980. I’m sick of getting disappointed EVERY year. Winning the championship would be the biggest thing that’s happened to the city of Eugene in my lifetime. I’m no football fanatic because the NFL doesn’t have an Oregon team but damn if U of O could win this, it’d be nuts!
He struggled, but it was as a Freshman in a conference loaded with good to very good QBs. He seems like an easy fit for the Ducks with whom he already had committed once.
Dante's mother has been diagnosed with cancer in the past year. Guessing he heads home (Michigan State) to be closer to family https://bruingold.com/forums/index.php?az=show_topic&forum=108&topic_id=499204 STOMP
Kind of like Scoot, it is hard to judge. He is 18 and was thrown into the fire. I would not judge him on this year. The question is if he is willing to work his ass off to get better. And if he has the right QB coach to help develop him.
that 'report' has already been 'withdrawn' Ward actually may transfer to Oregon, but he also may want to test his market before he does. He's considered to be the best QB in the Portal, so far, and the rumors are that elite QB's in the portal can command a 1-2M dollar NIL package something else: I think he's a grad transfer so he may not even be subject to transfer portal rules
