Politics Oregon proposal would require gun owners to obtain permits

Had to look it up. You are correct, only required in Oregon for hunters under age 18. I stand corrected.

However. If an Oregon hunter wants to hunt in another state, they will be required to take the course.

Technically, I do not need to take the firearm safety courses. Because of my age, I am grandfathered in for most states.

I was one of the first in line to take every firearm safety course offered. I felt it was the responsible thing to do.

 

I figure anyone in the woods during hunting season that is banging pots and pans to spook the elk and deer out of my hunting area, is an activist.
