So are we still saying that Marcus is a good leader?

this game is not over yet. Oregon can put up points in bunches. There's still plenty of time

I'm not a huge football follower so I'll throw this question out there for some of you more knowledgeable types.

From the way the game is going, it would appear that Stanford is a much better team. Granted Oregon has not gotten some calls but it is very overwhelming in spite of that fact.

Is Stanford really that much better or is this a case of the coaching staff for Stanford being better and being able to prepare their team better for what the Ducks would bring to the table?

    Gramps...

Standford is a good team but its built to beat Oregon. The way to beat The Ducks is by controlling the clock and stopping the run. The fact that they have gotten every break possible makes them look much better then they actually are.

It's not that they're better per se, it's that they are literally built to beat a team like the Ducks. The UO team is built for speed and athleticism on both sides of the ball. Unfortunately, speed and athleticism simply can't stop a huge offensive line and a strong back who is just running straight ahead. We just can't stop them. With that said, Mariota is shitting the bed. He's making bad decisions, he's holding the ball way too long, and he isn't leading the team.

This game is over. I'd be fed up if I was the defense. Tired of giving the ball back to this gutless offense.

Well, one thing about being the fan of a mediocre team like the Blazers, is you never get your hopes up and have them smashed like this. Wow....totally dominated tonight on both ends. It could still be a game if it weren't for those turnovers, but the Ducks could barely move the ball tonight and can't stop Stanford, the turnover thing may have made the game more respectable, but we flat out got our asses kicked. At least now we know if this team is worth of a shot at the Natty, and clearly the answer is no. We're a 2nd rate team.

Being an Oregon sports fan in general sucks. The only team that can win shit is the Oregon Tech fuckin' Hustlin' Owls.

So are people still saying that Mariota is even half the leader that Harrington was? Does anyone think Joey would have let us go scoreless and fold like this? The team reflects their leader, and MM folds like a cheap tent.

Im a little glad my wife stole MY TV to watch The Big Bang Theory. Sounds like the Ducks have given up and if I was still watching it I may have broken something else.

They gave up in the first half man. This team is so used to blowouts that they can't handle adversity at all.

Yep. All the shit talked tonight on twitter will be deserved. This team needed to show some guts and it didn't.
