    easy now... he is playing with all backups. Not saying he would be better than Mariota was, but life would be a lot easier for him with DAT and Barner, and all other starters taking pressure off him

    Our starters playing all of 20 minutes... Chip's system might hurt his recruiting chances in a few years when players have trouble getting awards and draft position because they only play 20 minutes a game.

    It's the first game and their figuring out their system, and they got ahead by so much they want their backups to get playing time.

    The 1st quarter and a half was awesome, the rest of the game was just lame. I don't remember the Ducks ever pulling everyone like that. They used to just step on people's necks and never take their foot off the gas. That is what I loved about Chip.

    Who wants to see their team play 1.5 out of 4 quarters? We could have won 100-10!!

    Chip said the second half was training footage for the second and third string players..... You know you have bad ass team when you're using full halfs for video room discussion with part of your team that wont see the field probably more than 2 times more the whole year..... Let's keep in mind that Arkansas State was a 10 win team that went to a bowl game last year......

    Those point spreads still count in the rankings right? Isn't College Football going to a playoff system this year? Top 4 teams in a playoff series?

    Not till next year.... that said i think strength of schedule may count for far more so the Ducks may need to schedule Texas or a Georgia type of school in a hurry because next year we only play USC if they make it to the Pac-12 championship and we'll be loaded next year as well!
