I'd rather face the Magic because we get homecourt advantage. I think the series will go 7 games no matter who we faced and I'd rather play Game 7 at Staples center than Game 7 in Cleveland. Although winning the title in Cleveland during a game 7 would be epic considering their home dominance this season.
It will establish LA as the best road team in basketball. But I seriously wouldn't like to face the Magic though, I don't feel that Andrew is ready to guard a Monster like Howard, granted Howard is still lacking in the post moves area, but he is still a freaking monster, especially on defense. And, Turk's gonna run that high screen and roll that we just can't guard.
did anyone here watch the cavs/magic gamethe other day? rashard is seriously overrated in terms of his effect on the game, he cannot do anything inside the key, not one thing, he was missing layups, freethrows, everything, the guy just needs to be played tight by someone his size and speed (odom or ariza) and he is a non-factor. turkyglue as some of like to refer to hiom as, is a dangerous guy, but he can be contained, he isnt too fast or a great ballhandler from what ive seen in this series so i think if pau or odom were playing him his production could be slowed. But the problem with the magic is if rashard and hedo are contained well on the perimeter, it leaves howard open on the block, that is where bynum needs to step up and play him tough, staying behind him the whole time. with howard you need one help defense on the opposite block, and some tough in-his-back D from bynum and he will have to shoot jumpers all night long. if we reduce his fg% we win it in 5.
When Dwight isn't in foul trouble and Orlando are making their 3's, they are nearly impossible to beat. But when Dwight gets in foul trouble, their gameplan falls apart since you don't have to double down Gortat or Battie.
Our X-factor must be Pau, Rashard can't guard him. Get Rashard into foul trouble and Magic must make adjustments.
You're crazy. Just like the Nugget series was going 7 This goes no longer than 6. I actually think 5 against the Cavs, 6 against the Magic.
