I'm serious. Watched the first one and was trying to figure out who was singing. Didn't pay as much attention to the song the first time.
It was just a silly video we made. The band is now defunct, but I'll be starting a couple of new projects when I get back to Portland. I have 2 solo ventures I am going to work on and I'm going to play keys for a group fronted by the drummer from my old band.
Nice!!! When you get into town, hit me up. Id love to see what is possible with musicians. In another week when the studio is put back together Ill send you a few pics. Here is a link top all of my personal music, but all programmed drums on a drum machine. Now I have EZ drummer 2 with TONS of beats. www.reverbnation.com/orionbailey I havent posted anything new in a few years though.
prunetang you do sound just like Ray Davies of the Kinks...I know I mentioned that long ago as well...nice work dude
Damn prune. That's some good shit. Who's the drummer? He's got very good fills. Also like the way you treated the vocals.... goes well with the guitars. Also River is right. You do sound like Ray Davies. If I ever see you please cover "God's Children!"
Thanks dude. It's funny, because I never thought of that until you mentioned it. And the Kinks are in my top 5 of all time. Village Green Preservation Society is my second favorite album. Regardless, that is really flattering.
The drummer is an old friend I grew up with in Roseburg OR. He is ridiculously talented. My only problem with him is that he sped everything up. But, what ya going to do?
Sounds like you're already in one Bert...I think you're confusing urban cowboy music with the real deal though..
I like the old timey stuff, if that's what you mean. Actually I'm in a great mood. Being subjected to that redneck garbage would change that real quick, though.
