So we learned tonight that Rondo couldn't play with Roy, Monte is a very good coach that we should have kept to replace Nate, Love is an elite rebounder, Bayless looks nice in a more uptempo system.
I tell you what, this Warriors team is exciting. On an 18-2 run since halftime against the Clips. Ellis and Curry in the backcourt and Lee and Biedrins in the frontcourt makes for a pretty exciting team. They're my darkhorse for the playoffs this year.
Yeah, exciting if you like watching a team that has no chance of sustained success because of their style of play.
Phoenix has had some playoff success despite being bad defensively for awhile now. Keith Smart is atleast preaching defense, unlike Nellie.
The guys had chronic sprained ankles since he got to the league. I feel for him, I have really weak ankles as well.
Not sure, I never really used any braces or wraps. Mine usually happen playing basketball, so I just sit out a week or two until I can walk without pain. I'm sure in the NBA they wrap up the ankle good and use a brace. But, severe sprains can still put a player out a week, or two.
If there's anyone who's increasing their trade value it's Monta Ellis: Last three games: 15 pts 11 ast 46 pts (18-24 fg) 41 pts (16-30 fg) (Pre-season vs Lakers)
Yes, Monta Ellis might be the most explosive scorers in the league. When he's on, he's on. The capabilities of that backcourt is scary.
I watched a little of that NJN game - they are going to be a very nice team this year. Lopez is a handful in the post, Travis can score, Harris is a very good floor general for them.
Yes. They are a much better team than last year. Hard to tell, however, if they took a big step up or if Boston is still sputtering.
