Wesley Johnson takes 1 less FGA/48 than Derrick Williams does at SF, and Williams plays 18% of the Wolves' minutes at SF.

Johnson plays 38% of the minutes at SF. At some point, you have to wonder why Wesley Johnson continues to start.

Taking it further, Minny is much better in Floor winning % with Williams in the line-up over Johnson for all but one unit.

Clearly, Adelman needs to get Williams more involved, even if it means he plays SF.

Completely agree. It's looking like Wesley Johnson is a total bust ... he looks completely un-salvageable at this point (given his age, etc.)

maybe minny is trying to salvage some of wesleys trade value

maybe derrick williams isnt an ideal sf

maybe wesley gives adleman what he wants on defense

maybe adleman is a drunk idiot

i mean there are so many possibilities

The funny thing is that Beasley plays less minutes at SF, and more minutes at PF, than does Derrick Williams.

    Williams 18% SF/ 21% PF
    Beasley 13% SF/ 22% PF

    http://www.82games.com/1112/11MIN10.HTM#bypos

So, BoobNoMore, exactly what does Beasley have to do with Wesley Johnson at SF? Williams plays more of that position in Adelman's offense in Minny, yet you claimed otherwise in your little rant that was long on emotion, but short on facts. Basically, just another wordy post, full of ad hominems, yet factually inaccurate.

Beasley's one of those guys thats cool to watch sometimes when he's on fire. But, for the most part he is a knucklehead who takes horrible shots that aren't within the flow of the offense and doesn't have any concept of team game.

I think any team would take him as a 6th man. Dude is pretty unreal at times, but you certainly only want him out there with a second unit that has no better shot opportunities than Beasley calling his own number. At some point some shitty team is going to give him big money to start and be their #1 though.

I can't think of a team that would be that retarded.

Bulls hold ORL to 59 points (again without Rose) in ORL.

Otis Smith really needs to be fired from that team.

Anybody see the GSW Chris Mullin ceremony? Pretty classless move by the fans.

Internet GSW fans are so embarrassed by these douche bags. These are the morons who continually line the owners' pockets to watch a .400 team every year. Would rather watch Monta score 25 and freeze out the rest of the team than get the best center we've had in decades and try to actually rebound and defend. Unbelievable...

If there is any way that Williams can guard sf's, then Minny is set because he can play the 3 on Offense IMO. Both he and Love have the inside/outside game to co-exist.

Beasley needs to go this summer.

Wow, friggin BRUTAL. Truly embarrassing. And that's going to be on Sportscenter, PTI, etc. etc. tomorrow. Ugh.

It was arrogant of Lacob to speak after Mullin though. And giving his family a vacation? WTF is that?

Pretty poor by GSW fans to ruin a good moment for Mullin -- most of those fans probably never saw him play.

And Monta wasn't getting them anywhere. He's a good player, but not a franchise player like their fans treat him like he is. It's too bad since their fan base can get pretty rowdy -- almost Blazer-like -- when they're doing well and can really get behind their team.

But they're stuck in mediocrity.. one of those teams that wins 30-40 games a season with no true All-Star and drafts real poorly.

And wth happened to Biedrins? He was a legit starter a few years ago, and now he's flat-out terrible, averaging less than 2 ppg and making $9 mil per? Yuck. Should've amnestied that guy instead of Charlie Bell.

I would kinda like to see Biedrins play next to Curry for an extended period of time. One of them is always injured seems like they can't get a rhythm down. Biedrins isn't a guy who can get his own he is like Tyson used to be, needs a PG who knows how to play with a big to get him some points. Or it could be Bierdrins lost all his confidence and isn't worth the D-League at this point, don't get to watch a lot of GSW play so not sure what happened to him.

Seems like a confidence thing at this point. He had a combination of injuries and Don Nelson turning on him one season and hes never gotten back to being what he once was. That also coincided with Baron/Stephen Jackson leaving and those guys not only were great at penetrating and finding him under the rim but they were big time leaders whose confidence oozed over onto the rest of the team.

But even ignoring his inability to score, he used to be one of the most energetic bigs in the league and rebounded insanely well. Hes just got no passion or energy any more. Dude used to own the defensive glass even when his PFs were Matt Barnes etc. Even his FT shooting has regressed. Hes a complete mess mentally.

Needless to say, the behavior by GSW fans led off the sports section today in the Bay Area. Tied with not getting Peyton Manning. Stanford in the Sweet 16 only made bottom of page.

Yeah, crap behavior. There is a time and place for everything. You know, Blazers fan grouse about management all the time, but if Paul Allen were introducing, say, Terry Porter, for an honor, would the Rose Garden fans boo him off the floor? It seems GSW fans have a combination inferiority/superiority complex. Every year will be their year, which never happens. Their players are all stars, except they aren't. Every free agent is coming to Oakland, except they don't. Every big name will be acquired in a trade, which doesn't take place. But at the same time the whole world is against them. I mean, Blazers fans could take lessons.

(Side note, we keep hearing free agents won't come to Portland - city too white, too small, not enough night life, too much rain, but the Bay Area is big, diverse, and has night life for any taste. And warm weather. Maybe winning has something to do with it? Or lack thereof?)

If PA was introduced to retire, lets say Brandon Roy's Jersey, a few days after he trades LMA I can't help but think the RG might have a similar story.
