And those proved how deceiving photographic angles can be. Watching Bynum on TV he actually looks exactly the same as last year. Physically, he's a clone of Brendan Haywood. Tall with some mass but on a narrow frame.

yeah if you're the lakers you don't sign him, see how he does this season (on the court and health wise), then if he plays well and is healthy you match any offer given to him.

I disagree, I find his post entertaining and unlike most Laker trolls he does it in a playful/respectful manner. I have no problems with Laker guys coming in and talking some smack, it's a sign of respect. He wouldn't post in here if he didn't think the Blazers were a legit concern for the Lakers.

I like Bynum a lot. Now, let me think, Portland has lots of cap space for next year, Bynum is a RFA next year. Can you just see KP offering him the max. If he thinks he is worth it - it forces the Lakers hand to offer him the max. If he does not - it still forces their hand - if they overpay to keep him, this is good for the Blazers, if they decide they will not match - KP has both Oden and Bynum on the roster and will have some time to decide which one he wants - it should be easy to trade either one of them later...

This would be a fun thing to do...

Personally, I think Oden will be a better player than Bynum by his 2nd year - and this is not a knock on Bynum - I just think Greg is a once every 5 years prospect (the other one in this decade was D-Howard) and Bynum is not.

So... what you are saying is that Bynum == Darius Miles?

    DaRizzle, Rizzle, Rizzle...

You are arguing against yourself ;)

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Signing Bynum would be pretty tremendous. Trade Przybilla and go with an Oden/Aldridge/Bynum big man rotation. ;)

More to the point, it forces LA to either max him out or lose him. If LA was hoping to get him for less, that would be off the table. But I suspect LA already plans to max him out, barring a disasterous year...in which case, Pritchard wouldn't even consider offering a max deal.

All the Oden vs. Bynum stuff cracks me up. Let's say Pritch calls up the Laker front office and offers Oden for Bynum straight up. Does anyone think the Lakers hesitate for any reason (other than maybe having a doc check Oden's knee)?

Tell when the last time you saw somebody play "without" their motherfucking shoes!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who cares how tall they are without shoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????? And leave DaRizzle alone. His opinion of the Blazers is actually more right on then 75% of these so called Blazer HOMERS, I mean fans.

What cracks me up are comments like yours... Bynum is going to be an elite and versatile C for a long time, and acting like there's no way in the world he even touches Oden's jockstrap is a complete joke. As of right now, I honestly don't know who's going to have the better career, but I'll pick Oden because I like him as a person more and he's on the Blazers.

Pritch would never do that. He's proved he has a basketball mind of a genius. I'm not sure he'd be too fond of this idea of trading our blue chipper for a more polished version of Brendan Haywood.

Big market teams = overhyped players.

NY fans and their crazy exagerations

LA fans and their 'He's the next Shaq/Duncan' hybrid talking out of their asses rhetoric.

?? I don't know where you got the idea that I said there's absolutely no comparison between the two players because I didn't take it that far. The point I was making (or at least trying to make) is that, at this point in time, if you offered the Lakers Oden for Bynum, I think they'd take it. And that says something. Doesn't mean Bynum can't play, but it means most people would perceive Oden having more value.

No doubt people are wrong, players get injured, etc. and only time will tell the truth of any of this.

Why is that I hear the song "Love is in the Air" after seeing the exchanges between HCP and DaRizzle?

(Disclaimer: that's pure joking around. I get where HCP's coming from -- it's good and sane to hear the voice of the other side, DaRizzle in this case.)
