Ha, and most fans were making fun the Nets for trading RJ for Yi, Simmons. And chill with these JR Smith cr4p. The Nets wouldnt even talk to him because he wants more than 2 years. The Nets wont be doing any sign and trade with JR.

However do the Nets want to lose Boone? I guess Camby would work for the LBJ plan since his deal is only a 2 year. However he wouldn't be as enticing to have around being a 36 year old center vs. Boone 2 years older.

who else is out there to get through trade. No one really... there is nocioni, but he has 5 years left on his deal. I don't expect anything higher than the caliber of camby coming to New jersey this off season. I have a strange feeling that Kristic may stay and Sean Williams may leave.
I think as long as there aren't any contracts more than 2 years, it's a possibility for Kiki-Thorn. I think they moved Camby because they're accounting for JR Smith making something close to the MLE this season. Probably a 5 year 30 million dollar deal. Moving Camby was a money thing. Saves them 40 million total salary and lux tax. It makes it easier when they have Nene under contract and Hunter as the backup.

I guess their success is contingent on what they do with the trade exception.

Yes, Camby blocked shots, but he created more problems on defense with his lack of rotations and non-existent man defense. As far as his rebounding, his numbers were inflated because of all the rebounds he stole from his teammates. Plus we haven't even touched upon how much he screwed up the rather simple Nuggets offense with his demands for shot attempts (and pouting if he didn't get them) and his uselessness on back to backs.
