I think Presti has done an amazing job. Their problem before the trade was they had a donut defense--nothing in the middle. They fixed it with spare parts. I think this deal is unbelievable for OKC.

I thought he was going to be that draft class' Brandon Roy--the unspectacular player who can do it all. I loved his game coming out of Georgetown.

maybe this should be a thread after the trade-deadline excitement cools down, but I've always wondered what KP would've done had the Blazers gotten the 6th (?) pick instead of #1. Green does seem like such a KP player that he's my guess, but there also were rumors of trading the pick.

Even though Smith is a decent player, this trade definitely makes the Hornets worse. Good for us.

Chris Paul made Chandler a much more effective player. He will do the same to Wilcox and he is much cheaper, Smith is a great backup to West off the bench. I like this trade for both teams. Prepare to see a lot of Wilcox alley-oops on Sportscenter.

Unless they get lucky, I don't see them being in position to draft a top 3 pick..they have been playing better lately and now that Al Jeff is out..you got Sac, Minn, LAC, Wiz and possibly Memphis finishing all ahead of them.
