So the Bulls didn't win 55 games without Jordan?

    Gasol is on Pippen's level?

I don't really get where you're going with this, it makes no sense.

Can a mod please delete this entire thread. Don't move it, delete it. Reading Blazer fans (BLAZER FANS!!!!) giving props to the Lakers for winning the championship? Arma-fucking-geddon.

Any team that the Bulls beat with Jordan would have swept the Magic, and I am including the eastern teams they beat to get to the finals. I think that is the main difference.

Uh what is your point? I made mine already. Pau Gasol is a fringe all-star, Lamar Odom is an inconsistent role player.

There is no elite second option now, like back in the three peat.

Yes, they have multiple options. Lamar and Pau and Bynum...that's pretty formidable IMO. To suggest that Kobe has less help than a Jordan-Pippen bulls team is pretty laughable.

Actually it isn't laughable, what did Bynum do in the playoffs? Lamar's 11 and 9 each night sure gives us the edge in talent per night?

sure its laughable. The L*kers have an excellent collection of good NBA talent. You trying to minimize it to give Kobe more of an edge is funny to me.

Kobe didn't have a great series IMO...sure he put the numbers up but it wasn't that great except for game 1. yet they won the championship.

He had 30 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 blocks, 2 steals, in game 5. He had a monster second half in game 2, saved the game. Look at Jordan's last 3 Finals, it is right on par.

And Bynum is an injury-riddled big who did very little for us.

    Bynum : 6.3 PPG, 47% shooting, 66.7 FT%, 3.7 rebounds

Why are you trying to hype this scrub up?

you have to ask yourself...was this a legendary performance? to me, it was a very underwhelming finals series predicated on the weakness of the Orlando Magic.

It doesn't really matter as much about how much talent was around Kobe (top 5 PF, one of the best bench players, great SF in Ariza, big body to throw at Howard in Bynum, but how much talent was on the opposing team.. Not much if you ask me.

    Fuck the Lakers.

They were the better team. I was more referencing your wishing violence upon players/people you don't even know.
