Maybe right, but he ain't a Blazer.. But we are talking best in the game. I don't even think any Blazer currently is top 5 in the league. So why would that matter?

Phoenix, Sacramento, and OKC are all currently out of the top 8 in the west. If one of those teams makes it in......the Pelicans won't IMO. I can't see anyone who is currently in the top 8 not making it in but N.O. When was the last time someone won the MVP from a team who struggled to make the playoffs?

Best player in the game should, by himself, lead his team to top 3 at least. Talk to me when that happens

It's a team game. Nevertheless, New Orleans is 6-4 only a half game behind the champions.

Every team in the West is going to struggle to make the playoffs. I don't think any team in the West is a lock. Certainly, the Rockets or Clippers could miss out. They're awful.

Hahaha dude. The man that talks up Aldridge about leading his team past the first round on another thread. Stick with what you believe in bro.

Of course it's a team game, but certain top players, can lead their team to greatness. End of story

Even the third best. LBJ lead his to #1 many times, wade even did when he was third best, Durant did as well. Even Melo lead his nuggets to third best.

As I said, This kid will be one of the best, but that ain't now.

Kobe was in his prime in 2004-2005 and the Lakers didn't make the playoffs

Wade did absolutely nothing for the Heat for 4 years until LeBron came to town

Knicks were terrible last year, terrible this year

Sorry. The talent you are surrounded with matters.

Wade won a title before LBJ came. He still made the playoffs even when Shaq left.

Kobe had one bad year out of 18. Yeah whatever on that one.

Melo wasn't a top 3 player in New York. Sorry

He also had 3 years with the best 3 records in NBA.

Show me a top 3 player that hasn't made the playoffs more than not?

As I said. When he develops a post game and "go to move" he won't be best 3. It's gonna happen and when it does, his team will be a top 3 ball club, regardless who he has on his team

He doesn't have to develop a post game to be a great player

He's a great player right now and it's really not up for debate. You're just wrong and don't realize it.

Um... earth to Roytroll, I already said he was great. I just don't agree with the OP about MVP. You are saying he is top 3! Lmao

You said he is "just a good player" and not a great player. Fuck, read your own posts.

I'd put him top 3 and there's nothing "lmao" about that.

Yea except he isnt. He is great defensively and shows flashes of just how damn good he will be but he isnt a top 5 defender let alone the best PF defensively yet.

Leave it to Roytoy to argue semantics. You said top 3, which he is not. I said good, but we were arguing "greatness" which he is not. He is not at the level of LBJ or Durant. Not even close... Sorry

Apparently you missed my post earlier in this thread where I said LeBron and Durant are better than him.

He's a great player in the game right now and that isn't debatable. Like I said, you're just wrong and don't realize it.
