OT: Dalambert Traded to Kings

    Why would you think he would be a starting C? Dalembert would be their center..

    He's a legit 6'11" in shoes with a good wingspan and a clocks in at 250 ... hardly small or thin, plus offensively, I thought Thompson was one of the few guys that could actually score from the low block on that young team, but you're right he did foul a lot and still has a ways to go as a defender. By getting Dalambert it really gives the Kings an experienced defensive anchor in the middle -- a guy to block shots and patrol the paint for a team that is very, very young it probably means that they can feel safe going after Monroe, who looks a lot more like a power forward to me, and they can evaluate their options a year from now and decide which of their big men they want to retain out of Landry, Dalambert or Thompson, or they might decide to trade back into the draft and take a guy like Aminu or Henry, picking up more assets or shedding Francisco Garcia's contract.
