There are no more "pure" PG's. Kidd will be the last one. He's a guard.

Considering your signature is riddled with Laker stuff, I reserve the right to question your judgment.

Rose is the real deal. He will probably end the best player from his draft class - he already is the Bull's best player...

I also think Rose will end up being the best player from this years draft. It will take him a couple years but IMO he will be the 3rd best PG in the NBA behind D.Williams and C.Paul. I'm not all the high on Beasley and even Mayo. I think Mayo will be decent and especially this year it seems he will have all the shots he will want but will shoot a terrible percentage. I think Mayo will end up being a good rotation player but not a star and Beasley won't even end up that good.

As a Bulls fan, it's great to see a guard, a PG no less, who can score on layups and dunks.

I don't care what position people think he plays, what he looked like last night was the best player on the floor by a long shot. Teams that have the best player on the floor should win most of the time.

Would you guys consider Hinrich for LaFrentz?

I watched almost all his Pac-10 games and wasn't that impresseed. He is over hyped and not a superstar. I think he could be a good rotation player and that is at best IMO. I also thought Bayless was a better player then Mayo in college. I wasn't a huge Bayless fan either but I thought he was the better player of the two.

This isn't college ball. Mayo sucked in college. He will be a better player then Bayless by far.

I've seen a lot of people comment that Mayo sleep-walked his way through his mandatory one college season to avoid injury and harming his big paydays to come.

I have heard that sleep-walked talk before and don't believe it. I'm a big pac-10 college basketball fan and watch almost all the games that are on TV. I think I had watched almost all of Mayo's games at least in the Pac-10 play and IMO wasn't sleep walking in those games. I just think he isn't the next Kobe or whoever they are trying to compare him to. We will have to see but it will take a couple years. This year he probably will avg close to 20 ppg but will be lucky to shoot even 40% and will have a ton of turnovers.:crystalball:

Really? So one post you say that Mayo sucks, then the next post you say he didn't sleepwalk threw college.

You high bro? Isn't it a little early for the bong?

I never said he sucked. I said he would be a good rotation player but not a star. He didn't sleep-walk through college. Why would he sleep-walk through college? If he was as good in college as his hype he would have been the number #1 pick. Sleep-walking through college would cost him a few million dollars. I know he was talking that he really wanted to be the 1st pick in the draft. I don't think he did sleep-walk through college and even if he did why would anyone want to draft a player that didn't even try in college when he really wanted to be the #1 pick.

I think Mayo might be the best player out of this draft. He seems like one of those few players who's game translates more to the NBA than college.

The only thing I don't like about Mayo is his size. He's kinda' small on the defensive end. I hate using that word "tweener", but he has game!

I believe Mayo can play PG in the league, so if he ends up in his rightful position he wouldn't have that problem.
