smh at saying Outlaw should be kept over him, and then knocking him for being "inconsistent". Wow. Just wow.
Absolutely. Anyone outside of Roy, Oden, LMA, Batum and Rudy should be fair game for a player of Harris' caliber, but there is no way New Jersey does a deal unless we throw in some serious value.
Dallas wishes they could redo that trade. There is no way they are going to win a title with the team they have now. NO way.
How bad are the Mavs going to be this year? They're 2-7. But they started 0-4 the season they made the Finals and the Lakers started 2-5 the season that they the beat out the Blazers in the 1991 WCF. I've asked this before and I'll ask it again. Will the Mavs just suck this year? Or is this just a slow start?
I wouldn't take Batum off the table for a player like Devin Harris, even though I like his potential a lot.
19 and 5 isn't inconsistent. That's what you call a top notch point guard. At his age and what he produces, also considering the defender he is, I'm not sure there's a point guard that fits this team better.
There's no reason for the Nets to trade away Harris, unless they get a top-notch prospect/player back. You have 4, very, very, good ones in Roy, LMA, Oden, and Rudy, and two with good potential in Batum and Bayless. Raef+Batum+Bayless+2st rounders for Harris+Trenton Hassell + GS Pick
How bout this trade? Bayless Outlaw Frye Blake Lafrentz 1st round pick for Harris Carter Hassell http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.php?tradeid=4818324
this is his first opportunity to have complete freedom with an offense. I think he will open a lot of eyes. He's not a distributor like Kidd or nash, but I think he will prove to be as good as someone like TOny Parker.
Could we some how work into the deal that you sign Darius Miles to a 2 year deal and just never play him -- EVER? Thanks!
If the way he's playing now is "inconsistent", then I'll take inconsistent any day of the week. 33 and 10 tonight.
Devin Harris with 30 points, 5 assists, and 3 steals in a win tonight. That's Harris' 4th 30 point game of the season, and in just those 4 games he has more points than Jarrett Jack has on the season.
Yeah, shame that the Blazers didn't have a declining, former star to offer Dallas last season. Would have been nice to steal him.
Wow. This season he's went from poor-man's Tony Parker to a Tony Parker clone. He's a serious baller.
