Except with high level defense. Parker isn't a bad defender, but Harris is significantly better, IMO.
I think that the Harris ship has sailed, but he would have been a nice addition to Portland since we weren't going to get Paul or Williams as free agents. I mean if you can't get those two may as well get the guy that could be the answer to shutting them down or at the very least making them look less like superstars and more like average NBA players.
Yeah, even if he is a young efficient, top 10 scorer, who plays great defense. That 7 million is really bogging us down.
I haven't read through this whole thread, but that is how I feel . . . Harris was a great thought, but that thought is done. Harris is part of the rebuilding in NJ and you would have to overpay (one of the big three)for there to even be trade possiblities. I'm more curious on who this year's "Devin Harris" is in KP's mind.
Augustin finally got minutes in the past two game for the Bobcats. He even started last game. I didn't see it, but just going by the Box Score, he was 9/15 and 9/20 scoring 21 and 26 points. He had 4 and 7 assists. He only had 1 TO in both games combined. He was 7/11 on 3-pointers in the last game. This was against Dallas and in Atlanta!
It would seriously suck to be a Mavs fan right about now. This is turning out to be exactly like the Jermaine Oneal for Dale Davis deal.
