Kenyon Martin was actually a beast earlier in his career. It's what's behind the ears that did him in. Towns looks like a dude that has it all together
I'm not saying Martin was bad, just an overall disappointment of a player. Towns doesn't Excel at anything imho, he's a good athlete, with a nice shooting touch and decent defensive fundamentals but he was also surrounded by absolute STUDS. He isn't an Anthony Davis type either, he never really broke out on his team full of assassins. He just looked like 'one of the guys' that's concerning to me. He doesn't scream franchise player, he comes across as a 3rd or 4th guy on a good team. Okafor, Russell and Winslow look like guys you can build around.
Trade LMA to the Lakers for their pick. Trade Lillard to the T-wolves for their pick. Trade Batum to the Sixers for their pick.
The funny thing is "nice" is how you describe them. Remember when WE won the lottery? "Nice" was replaced by "multiple championships" and "dynasty" to describe the team. :MARIS61:
With the Knicks pick rumored to be very available, would you deal 23, batum and McCollum for it, hoping you could keep Wes and afflalo at sg. Doubt they would do it, but that's probably the most we could offer
Kaman holds no value and Nic only a little. Thing is though, Russell and Mudiay are future all stars, and would be the perfect pair with Lillard. Both big enough to guard 2s and both can handle the ball.. Letting Lillard play as offensively as a 2guard. Giving up CJ wouldn't be a problem. It would create more of an opening for Afflalo to come back. They'd probably at least ask for Meyers, CJ, and a first which might be worth it.. I don't really know
