I would have settled for even something as insignificant as the Evans/Kopono trade that happened during last years finals. The offseason cannot get here fast enough for me.

The Detroit Pistons would like to draft Kentucky center DeMarcus Cousins and they are trying to move up in the draft via a trade to make that happen, the Detroit Free Press reports.

The team has the No. 7 pick. There was some thought that Cousins will still be available at that point "based on questions of character and work ethic, but that's unlikely considering the needs of the teams ahead of the Pistons," the paper says.

The Sacramento Kings have the No. 5 pick and Cousins impressed them with a workout this weekend.

Interesting. The Pistons definitly could use the toughness. I don't know what they were thinking when they signed Charlie V to the big contract. That is one move I will never burn the brain power to try and rationalize.
