He didn't say the cartilage is gone, but he did say "bone on bone". Sounds like there isn't much left
I haven't seen the X-ray so I can't say for sure. I remember the championship Bulls players would ice their knees while on the bench. Playing a lot of basketball seems to take a toll on the body.
If I were to hazard a guess... http://basketball.realgm.com/wireta...gation-For-Hitting-Six-Year-Old-Son-With-Belt He started missing games when that news broke. I figured he was avoiding the spotlight for a bit.
Yeah that's what I thought too, but now who knows? Maybe "bone on bone" is a smokescreen to pretend he's injured to avoid censure from the NBA while they try to bury the fact he's a horrible person.
Sucks about his knees. As for their injury history, I'm sure those two titles (you know, with arguably one of the best C's to ever play the game) help them get over the pain a bit.
Yep, the Rockets upset the Lakers in the WCF, but then lost to the 67-win Celtics in the finals. That 86 Celtics team was the best of the Larry Bird era. That was the year Walton won 6th Man of the Year. Their front court depth, featuring 4 future Hall of Famers, was able to overcome the Rockets twin towers. I haven't always hated the Rockets. I LOVED them in 1986 when they knocked off the defending champion Lakers. Everyone expected another Lakers-Celtics rematch, but the young, upstart Rockets pulled off a huge upset and bumped off the Lakers in 5 games. BNM
It's the least of Dwight's problems. Even with bad knees he'd still be a great player to have if it weren't for the void between his ears in that tiny head on top of the steroid body. That brain is shit-on-shit.
