Yeah, Chris Broussard is now reporting teams are upping their offers for STAT. I guess it was wise for them to leak it out. Apparently, they prefer Iguodala, and they don't want Beasley (wtf is up with Kerr, preferring Hickson to Beasley?)

Defense is more based on team and coaching attitude and less individually. Mike Brown is a defensive-minded coach. Amare has all the tools to be an excellent defender. The only real defensive coach Stoudemire ever had was TP, and he didn't even make it a season.

Hickson is still only like 21 and has shown some ability this year in the rotation. He was part of that Mayo/Beasley HS class, so he may have been overlooked but he does have potential to be a solid 16/8 guy down the line. Still, Amare for just that is cheap as hell.

Very good one, although I think Sarver's too cheap to take on Deng's contract... though they are said to want Iguodala, so who knows. But wouldn't Chicago prefer Stoudamire to all they players we're sending them? I know they're trying to free up space, but I think Stoudamire is a lock to opt out and they may even covet him in free agency anyway.

Meh, Cleveland isn't that bad. LeBron pushes any basketball Market up a tier, IMO.

The Cavs are pushing to win 60 games with a supporting cast that, well, SUCKS.

LeBron with Amare makes them the favorites, IMO. LBJ will finally have a true sidekick. Robin to his Batman.

what is extra silly is that sarver sold the draft pick that could have gotten deng or iggy in the first place.

he should be used to it by now, playing with a multiple MVP winner.

No shit. I wonder if Darius is going to be making a comeback? Reports last year stated that he was playing very well. Why didn't Memphis resign him?

It seems to me that something could come together involving Philadelphia, Miami, and Phoenix, avoiding Cleveland altogether, if the latest ESPN report is correct (that what the Suns really want is Iguodala, and Miami is Stoudemire's first choice).

Some kind of deal where the Suns send Stoudemire to Miami, the Heat send Beasley and a big contract to Philly, and the Sixers send Iguodala to Phoenix. The only question, I guess, would be this: are the Sixers willing to trade Iguodala for Beasley? I'm not sure it's a bad swap - maybe Phoenix and Miami both throw draft picks Philly's way?

I would think that Miami would love to make this deal. They become a contender in the East, and they keep LeBron's Cavs from getting that much better.

Because they never needed him in the first place. They only wanted to fuck us over, which was the whole point of the letter sent from the Trail Blazers organization.
