    I always thought Utah should give Jazz back to New Orleans and then change their name to the Utah Saints (as in Latter Day Saints).

    I like stuffing the Pelican's large mouth with kidneys and stomach lining; then you simmer in a broth for 3 hours. Add some Garlic, pickles and peanut butter and you have an amazing afternoon snack.

    Krewes are New Orleans social clubs that function primarily for parades, balls, and other festival related events. The higher end krewes are very exclusive, require several thousand dollars in annual fees, and are highly secretive, but they really run the gamut from historically black krewes to new start-up krewes by local organizations or cliques.

    Essentially, you can say that krewes are the backbone to the social scene of the country's most social city.

    I was personally hoping for "Krewe," just because of its local significance, but "Pelicans" is okay too. The one thing I don't like about "Pelicans" is that Tulane's mascot is a Pelican. It just seems weird for the city's pro and D-I basketball teams share the same mascot.

    The NO Voodoo? I could get down with that...
