    Oh, I don't know. Maybe it's the 4 MVP awards, 7 straight 1st team All-NBA selections, 45 time Player of the Week, 25 time Player of the Month, 3rd highest career scoring average and 2nd highest career PER in NBA history, yougest player to reach 20,000 career points, etc.

    Or, just because he's the best basketball player in the entire world.

    Just have 2 classifications, Superstar Based on Team Achievements and Superstar Based on Individual Achievements.

    I've learned in the past that a 'superstar' is whichever players BNM considers superstars. I don't consider Paul George a superstar, but I was wrong because BNM considers him a superstar. It's best just to nod your head in agreement...

    LeBron is no doubt a Superstar. That is true whether people like him or not.

    I wouldn't say Paul George is a Superstar yet but he is close and I could see him being one.

    P.S. I don't think Love is one either right now.

    Doesn't matter what I think. It matters what the folks in the league office think. They decide who the superstars are and Paul George is the next chosen one. He's all over nba.com and NBA TV these days.

    Doesn't hurt that he's the best player on the best team in the league.

    The NBA chooses who to market, and they aren't marketing George to the degree they market Durant/Bryant/James/Paul. Will you please link me on where it says that the NBA gets to label players as "superstars?"

    There are only two "superstars" in the NBA. LeBron and Durant.

    To be a superstar you have to be able to be plugged into any team in the NBA and be able to make the playoffs. In my opinion Paul George couldn't do that.

    LeBron will never be on Kobe Bryant\Tim Duncan level. James blew it when he went to Miami to get a championship. Like him or not Kobe has been with the Lakers though the good and the bad and has 6 championships to show for it. James might be the better player now but Kobe is probably the most epic player in the NBA behind Jordan.
