    I think the new CBA will attempt to fix this problem. As an aside, it's nice to see the East having more than two or three elite teams so they can beat the shit out of each other on the way to the Finals. The West has been a gauntlet of horrors the past 20 years.

    To be honest there's no that many big markets that can load up. To afford CP3 or Derron, the Knicks would have to hold a fire sale next season which would further kill their playoff chances.

    Wow, so the Knicks just traded 4/5th of their starting lineup for Melo and Billups. They've got one more move to make if they think they're going anywhere, even in the East.

    I think they will be OK. Their depth obviously took a hit, but they just made a major upgrade. I would take Billups over Felton any day of the week.
