So, a quick look shows that he's averaging 6.7 assists per game, which is 8th in the NBA: http://stats.nba.com/leaders/#!/?StatCategory=AST

Of the guys in front of him, only Westbrook and Wall carry any significant scoring load for their teams. Considering that the Blazers have only one other consistent scorer (CJ) to pass to, yeah, I'd say Lillard is doing pretty well in the assist department.

You do take the cake when it comes to dumb arguments.

He also had 8 rebounds, 11 assists, and 5 steals. He helps his team win.

The Rockets attempted 92 FG's for the game. Harden took nearly 1/3 of those shots and only made 40% of his shots. That's just horrible. 10 Rockets played in that game and one guy accounted for 31.5% of their shots.

For a little comparison, Dame attempted 19 shots. The Blazers attempted 88 as a team. Dame accounted for 21.5% of Portland's attempts.

So despite being on a team with guys like Dwight Howard, Trevor Ariza, Ty Lawson, Corey Brewer, etc, he attempted 10% more shots than the best player on our team.

This really explains why Houston is so god awful. Harden attempted 29 shots, and that doesn't even account for all the shots that he took while being fouled. He attempted 20 FT's in that game, so you have to assume that he was at least fouled 8-10 times. The guy is a ball hog. He only cares about his numbers.
