Pop is probably just resting him until the playoffs....make you think he won't play and then BAM...and his backup is ready too

As far as I know, Pop has never been "sneaky," but it may work out that way on accident.

Collins and this years pick (so essentially 2 lottery picks) plus ET for Kawhi
That is a good deal if they value Collins and this deep draft.

    That would leave
    Dame, Napier
    CJ, Pat
    Kawhi, Hark, Jake
    Aminu, Swanigan
    Nurk, Davis, Meyers

    Green font?

We probably won't be in the lottery this year. So that's one former lottery pick that made a so-so impression in his rookie season (sold on him but difficult to sell on another GM in my opinion) and a pick in the 18-20 range + one of the worst contract in the league.

Good deal for Portland. Sure. And for San Antonio?

I think Boston would trade Hayward, Smart, Rozier, and their LAL/SAC 1st for him, Green, and Mills, We couldn't beat that.

    Irving / Brown / Kawhi / Tatum / Horford
    That's nasty.

And if Anthony Davis became available this summer or in the future, they could flip Mills, Green, Tatum, and three 1sts for him.

    Irving / Brown / Kawhi / Davis / Horford
That might be a better starting 5 than Golden State.

Boston will not trade Hayward. That would be a PR disaster and would make all free agents think twice before going there.

If it happened, he would be injured in his first game wearing a pin wheel uni. That is our luck.

Different situation. A player who they got in a trade for next to nothing, that was out of contract at the end of year that they did not want to pay big money to because they had concerns over his health.

They took Hayward from the team he spent 7 years at, while promising him a key role in a contender and they would be ditching him after 5 minutes of basketball because he dared to injure himself on the opening night.

Right now we are tied in the loss column with a team currently in the lottery. So it could very well happen. But no I do not think that is enough. But I do think Collin is a pretty good fit in Pop's system though.

    CJ+Collins+pick for Kawhi.

    Or CJ+Nurk+pick for Kawhi/Green.

    Dame
    Green
    Kawhi
    Collins
    Davis

wow, I started a thread about Kawhi Leonard possibly being out for the season and it turns into a trade thread with us acquiring both Leonard and Anthony Davis. This forum must be an alternative universe, lol.

Who said we could acquire Anthony Davis?

You realize that we have a Davis on our team? That’s who I had in my starting lineup if we ended up trading Nurk.

    Bones was talking about Boston.

So who exactly said we could acquire AD?

That isn't fair at all, our Leonard is several inches taller than their Leonard so the Spurs should throw in a bag of basketballs or something to make it an even trade.
