Injuries are part of the game. Hopefully our team takes advantage of his injury and start the season strong.

It'll be interesting seeing how the Thunder adapt to Westbrook as the #1 during Durant's absence.

Now opening night is lose-lose. Lose the game and we lost to Thunder without Durant. Win the game and it's meaningless because Durant missed.

Considering the games after OKC... @Sac, GSW, CLE, DAL, @LAC... I'll take any W I can get.

Scott Brooks is going to get exposed when Durant misses half a season. See how he coaches without that option for a stretch

A win against a division rival is never a loss.

I also like the fact that Westbrook will now think he's Kobe Bryant.

Better keep him out of Colorado. Of course Kobe just slipped right?

You must not remember Durant saying tough shit on Scott Foster screwing up a call that cost us a game.

Never was high on Westbrook. He and Kyrie are the most overrated PGs in the league IMO.

Kyrie has a lot of game. He will breakout with LeBron and Love next to him instead of Anthony Bennett and CJ Miles.

I hate Westbrook but I respect his game. He may take some stupid shots but the guy plays with energy on both sides of the ball. I don't think he overrated at all. I don't think he can carry OKC like KD but they will still be over 500 when Durant comes back.

Kyrie is good in the 4th and good with the ball in his hands. I hope to God he doesn't suffer from Lou Williams syndrome and become disinterested in playing off ball. He never was an elite distributor.

Irving will be fine in the Cavs offense, LeBron and Love are both extremely unselfish players. I honestly believe he could lead them in scoring, LeBron will always get his 25-28 points, 7-10 rebounds and 7-10 assists but Irving has the opportunity to put up a ton of points as well... If Wade (In healthy years) could put up 25 a night with LBJ I'm positive Irving can as well as he is far more talented than Wade ever was (from a skill standpoint).
