But we should think about this game in the long run. If we do advance and go on to play the Clippers, (no disrespect to Nuggets fans) I know we will beat the Clippers. It all comes down to the Spurs-Mavs. If the Mavs beat the Spurs and we meet them in the WCF, I think we will be the favorites. Just think If Miami beats Detroit. Oh man what Ratings. But I am getting way ahead of my lame self. Game 5 is crucial against the Suns.

I do agree. This game was like the Kings-Lakers.

Tears coming down in all different directions (I'M DEAD SERIOUS). Life was so perfect at that time. Then my mom comes into my room and asks me whats wrong....and sobingly I said the Lakers won. My mom then suggested psychiatric help. I'm not ashamed to write this because I love my Lakers organization, I love my Laker players, and I love my Laker fans. Go LA.</div> I started crying when Kobe hugged Smush.

The .4 second and Kobe's today shot are equally amazing if you ask me. The .4 second was made by a role player (Fisher) so there's not alot of hype about it. If you remembered correctly, before Fisher nailed down the jumper with .4 second left, Duncan hitted a tough shot 20 feet away with Shaq in his face. And we're down by 1 point with .4 second left at the time. Nobody thought we would have won that game. Then again the .4 by Fisher proved all of us wrong. Then comes the Kobe shot with like over 6 seconds left? It doesn't seem amazing but Kobe's shot was more of a skill shot compare to Fisher's .4 shot which was pure lucky. Also it was made by a GREAT player which make the shot look more amazing. Then again, to rank them, it's tough. I say it's a tie with Horry 3 beating the Kings is a close 2nd.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting LO7:</div><div class="quote_post">I think we're the best buzzer beating team in the NBA.</div> Heck yeah, I can't find another teams with the kind of success like the Lakers in term of breaking the other team's heart by hitting big clutch shot. Hey check out the replay of the Lakers magic on nba.com broadband. I think this series was the series we built tremoundous chemistry.
If Kobe had missed, it would have been so depressing. Especially after what Smush had done to get them into OT.
I actually thought we're going to lose after Tim Thomas hitted a big 3 in OT. I even said that to all of my friends. But then again, once the ref called a jumpball, I knew the Lakers would gonna win it simply because we got Number 8 in our team, soon to be Mr. 24
I had some doubt about their chances of winning this game too. Especially when they were down by two in the fourth quarter and it was Phoenix's ball with only a few seconds left. I kept on telling myself it would take a miracle to pull this off. I was in such shock. Anyways, I got to go. I still have the last part of the game saved on DVR. I want to watch it again!
To tell you the truth. I felt the same way I felt when Duncan hit that shot over shaq. I said we're gonna win. And next thing I know, I am outside laughing at my Suprs friend who that they had won. He literraly cried cuz he left after the duncan shot. But I felt the same. With that said i will now go out for a nice dinner.
After the lakers went down by 8 and it was looking bad, I actualy told myself... I know something is gonna happen. When Kobe is here its possible and he came through same with Smush I was so happy I almost blew up a lung from yelling the entire game posession after posession.

As great as the finish was, it wasn't the best Laker game ever, not even the best finish IMO. That's not short changing today's game, because its right up there, but it just shows how rich our history is. That Horry shot against Sacramento was a better finish considering the final scramble and the ramifications it had (WCF, bad blooded rivarly, went 7 games, we won the title eventually etc..). How bout Magic's hookshot over McHale? This was certainly crazy though, one for the books most definitely
LA won on 2 terrible calls, the foul which should've been called on James Jones on the regulation final shot and the ridiculous call on Steve Nash in OT which led to Kobes winning shot. However in saying that, I dont really care who wins this series.
T.J. Simers had this to say about George, "The rest of us are excited for other reasons, of course, especially after Sunday's draining, lucky victory by the Lakers, which included the first miracle I have witnessed in my life: Back-to-back three-pointers in a critical situation by Devean George, and one more later with the game on the line." That's really funny because that's exactly what I was thinking today watching the game. I'm really thankful that George came through for us but I don't expect that to ever happen again.
