I understand that the concept of a contract means different things to people with unlimited amounts of money and lawyers than it does to you and me.

Chalmers then becomes the "Rondo" for the Heat. Interesting...

It was a little tongue in cheek, but also thinking along the lines of, "this might be the time to pounce".

Bosh said he will not play center. I'm sure he didn't sign without them promising to play him at PF.

I feel like we're about to witness the NBA's version of "Super Friends?"

Except this time around we root like hell for Lex Luthor ...

EDIT: So does this make Chalmers Wonder Dog?

I agree with you.. although he did say he wanted to be "the man" where he went.. instead he ended up being (as Stan Van Gundy so eloquently put it) "Wade's Lap Dog"

^ ya, he didn't want to go up against other teams centers! If I was Jermaine O'Neal, I'd go back there! He's made enough in his career already. WHo are the best bottom tier players out there that could help these guys?

Sorry this team is stacked. People thought Boston wouldn't fill out the Big 3, they did easily and so can this team. LeBron is the youngest and most talented in this core so that would be his mentality. He's got the edge to get the most credit.

Hopefully it still isn't true, Brian Windhorst isn't confirming it yet and Broussard has been off before. Not sure what to think.

To be honest, this may be one more nail in the death of my NBA fandom. Yes, I'm still a Blazer fan, and always will be, but more and more it's jaded in the belief that there's an uneven playing field, and that Portland will perpetually be on the short end of the stick.

Rumor has it that the script is already out for the Heat to win the next few years. Actually, Lakers win one more year then the Heat win the next 5 years after that. Chris Paul will bitch about the Hornets and find his way on this super team, even if the Blazers are healthy (god damnit, I am tired of saying that), and the Thunder who had a very promising future will be shattered. Of course, NBA has now adopted what the WWF does and is going away from the real sports such as Football. The refs will help these guys 10 times out of 10. The Heat games will last about 5 hours to take account 30 free throws for Wade, 25 for Lebron and 15 for Bosh. Chalmers will also get 10 a game just because he is on the Heat. Then after these guys are done, the Lakers will reclaim the top spot getting another superstar for Sasha and Morrison.

Fuck the NBA, I am near done with the sport. Love the Blazers, always have and always will, but I do not support wrestling.

I'd love to see how Cleveland fans will treat LeBron in his return there. That'll be pretty epic I'd imagine.

The Heat won't make it past the ECF next year. Book it.

Even if they win nothing next year, but add MLE type guys the next two years and ring chasers, they're pretty much set for the rest of the decade.
