Pretty sad but Houston is probably wishing they could trade offseason with Orlando at this point.

According to a Rockets insider on Clutchfans, it seems like the Rockets are going after Ariza now. May not even match Parsons.

    LOL

From Bron to Melo to Bosh to.....Ariza. A guy they signed a few years back and then dumped. This is GOLD.

Yeah, it's times like this that I'm glad our guys already have a plan in action that they are waiting to come to fruition. Could you imagine if we won a championship BEFORE getting together a big 3?

So now that the Rockets have lost out on Chris Bosh, there are some Rockets fans that believe they will get Rondo....AND Love.

I mean, is this real life?

Let's not go nuts. That will always be the Lakers' fanbase. Unless it's the Yankees' fanbase.

Laker fans don't even exist anymore... they traded their Kobe jerseys for CP3 jerseys.

Morey can take his moneyball and shove it up his ass. Dude has no idea how to build a team. Real life basketball isn't like fantasy basketball, numbnuts

This makes me happy, but I'm not so sure Houston got worse this offseason. Getting rid of Lin for nothing is a positive. He's a big time black hole on an already selfish team. Asik would be a loss if he had any role on the team, which he didn't with the arrival of Dwight. The only real change is the roster got a lot more expensive if they match Parsons.

I'm not a fan of Lin or anything but as a bench man he was putting up 13/4/3 basically, that's decent production. Asik is the best backup center in the NBA since Marcin Gortat was in Orlando.

I love what Morey did. Just because it didn't work out doesn't mean it wasn't smart to try. In the end, Bosh grinfucked them. That's not on the GM, that's on the player and the agent.

Lin got his numbers, but he was often playing with the starters and was devastating to the production of the other four guys on the floor no matter what the lineup. Best way to beat Houston was to encourage Lin to take over, because Harden sure as well isn't going to hurt you off the ball. Asik sat for much of the season because he no longer fit the team. It doesn't matter how good someone was if you didn't use him.

You love that Morey destroyed their bench and got nothing in return? Let's not pretend like Bosh ever promised to play for Houston. He seemed pretty non-committal to me. They wagered everything that he would go to the Rockets if LeBron left Miami, and they were completely wrong. That's definitely on the GM. He gambled big and lost. The move he made with Parsons was especially stupid. He declined the option on Parsons, making him a free agent during one of the worst possible times to have a RFA. There were so many teams with cap space this summer, it was almost guaranteed that Parsons would get a big contact offer.

Now, if the Rockets match, they will have upwards of 60 million tied up in just Harden, Howard, and Parsons. They won't have any cap space for a while.
