Damnit! I'm just finishing up the first quarter. He just had a sweet J and a Wade-esque drive and 1. He looks great!

oh god, you guys are going to be hearing me whine about how we shouldn't have given up on 'TELL for the next 10 years.

I'll try very hard not to start I-Told-You-So'ing, partially because I still am unsure of his consistency. I could see him doing very well in Minny. I could see Corey Brewer and Wes Johnson beating him out. I am not positive that being a P&R initiator and shooter in the triangle is what he's best suited for, but I would love for him to be on our team today. I'm still unsure that Babbitt (who at best seems to have the Outlaw role as his ceiling--3pt shooter from the corner as a stretch 4 with not-stellar D) is a better player or talent or higher ceiling than webster, but he will be 1/3 as expensive.

Yeah, I've been a pretty staunch 'TELL defender here I guess. Just a lot of the "he's already 23 and past his prime, he'll never improve" kind of things. we'll see what happens.

What about the clock? Does it stop if there is a foul? Does it? Does it?

I think Ben Roethlisberger idolizes Kobe, too.

I don't think we'll miss Martell one bit. I think Babbitt will fill in just nicely.

    Heh, no doubt.

You think Kobe's a ballhog, though? Vanessa "Just give me the rock!" Bryant might have something to say about that. ;)

Martell had a nice game today against LA...24 pts on 8/13 in 30 min. I wonder if Kobe gave him his shoes from Game 7??
