Yahoo! Sports reports the Wizards and center Zydrunas Ilgauskas could agree to terms on a buyout by today or tomorrow. That would allow Ilguaskas to sign with a playoff contender.

Many assume he will go back to Cleveland and has a deal in place, but agent Herb Rudoy says that's not true.

"I signed off on the document that there are no other deals in place on this, and I'm not going to put my practice of representing players in jeopardy if that wasn't true," Rudoy said.

Los Angeles Times writer Mark Heisler via Twitter wrote Sunday, "Source says NBA has told other teams it won't let Z go back to Cavs. May be woofing with no rule against it, maybe not ... Wizards haven't even bought out Zydrunas Ilgauskas yet but everyone knows it's coming and NBA officials read papers."

He's a fuckin liar. Common sense says there was a prearranged deal. Talks of Z going back to the Cavs was being thrown around before the trade even happened.

The thing is it's close to impossible to have tangible proof of the prearranged deal.

    Hm, interesting...

I still think he ends up in Cleveland though. How come LA Times is the only source reporting this.

I bet the NBA fixes that rule in the near future.
