Steve this could go one of three ways.

#1 = he makes the team.

#2 = he doesn't make the team & handles it with class.

#3 = he doesn't make the team & plays the gay card.

And if he chooses #3 you will never see another gay player drafted again.

From a football perspective, Dungy is right. This season the Rams have ceased to be a NFL football team and now its a social experiment.

Interesting you lock onto the "bible thumper" label. Tolerate a diversity of thinking much?

Not offended at all. Thank you for recognizing you own intolerance. Now back to Dungy. From a team mgmt perspective, franchises go to great lengths to build team chemistry and avoid controversy, etc. That is still the overwhelming majority of NFL player personnel activities. The media attention around this is not conducive to the proven model for building a championship caliber team. Has nothing to do with Sam and his personal lifestyle, and this isn't a Jackie Robinson event no matter how much some want that to be the case.

We dont want to ban anyone. We encourage all of you to talk to each other, be more civil. That goes for RickySa as well.

I thought he had an agenda at first, but Michael Sam is a Missouri alumn of his.

I was asked to close the thread, yet again. It seems it has gone past its usefulness. Some posters had some comments to the actual topic, others went to the source of the thread, the user. And the user obliged by talking back.

Here is an idea, instead of being scared of being banned, why not stay clear of any thread that will make you respond in the manner you have towards the poster?

I am locking the thread, simply because no one is talking on the topic anymore. It has become about the poster and vise versa. If anyone wants to comment further about Michael Sam, then pm me and I will open it back up.
