Considering the source, the really sad part is that I can't quite tell if this is sarcasm or not ... and even if it is sarcasm, it's just not funny.

They should retire Yi's jersey. That would tell opposing teams that the Nets are built on a foundation of exceptional decoys - and opposing teams would assume all other Nets players are decoys - so they need no defending. Boom. Championship.

This, too, and also - I believe that Dante's divine comedy predicted this season for the Nets.

Allow me to refresh your memory - the inscription at the entrance to hell (or, as it is currently known - Meadowlands sports complex) reads "Abandon hope all yi who enter here"

How's Bristol, Rudy? Do the Colella's have a nice mailbox there?

That's what's sad. I've read enough of Eric's posts to know he's trying to be funny. It's just painfully unfunny, and I'm not sure he realizes it.

What Mr. Millegan and Mr. Colella share in common is they believe any response is a positive one. It speaks volumes about the vacuum in their lives that have to be filled with the attention of others.

Can you make the all star team by being an exceptional decoy?

I am amused by this thread. Both at the initial post and the follow-ups to it.

You guys need to lighten up a bit.

You basically took the words from my mouth.... Or the strokes from my fingers (No, I still got that).

Seriously, though, Yi was thisclose to making the ASG.

    Or not.
