More details are coming out. Apparently the wife TOOK the gun that was left at HER APARTMENT to the police station and that brought the charges. What a fucking bitch. http://online.wsj.com/news/articles...ORDS=Felton&fpid=2,7,121,122,201,401,641,1009
Deron Williams on Raymond Felton situation: "I have a license to carry in 26 states. Im not bringing my gun to New Yotk."
I don't know much about guns, but does it make sense that there are 17 bullets in the magazine? I thought clips only held 16. Also, why wasn't she charged for possessing the weapon too?
Nevermind about the magazine size, did a little research and it looks like there are 17 round magazines.
The mag sizes vary by the manufacturer. A Glock 19, for example, comes with a 14 round mag. You can buy extended mags though.
So let me get this straight... The gun is unregistered. It was not found on Felton or in his residence. It was BROUGHT to the police by his wife who is seeking a divorce? What... the... fuck. How can they actually link the weapon to Felton? There has to be finger prints or something on it, right? I'm not saying he's innocent, but come on. She can just say it's his gun and the police take her word for it? She's divorcing him! Sorry, but I've seen what a woman can do when she's ready to cut ties to her husband.
If the possession of contraband is illegal, how is it that you can bring contraband to the police station and not be charged with a crime. Hey Mr. police man, I have this fully loaded weapon here (oh and there's some illegal pornography over here, a dead body over there, and some crystal meth too). I had my attorney come pick this stuff up and bring it to the police station because it is my soon to be ex-husband's shit and I am just tired of having it at my house.
