.......anyway....there is no chance in hell we will be burned by Oden. The only reason I ignored my gut feeling about this guy is because of people like Ed O that blast by the character of a player and/or the nuances of the way they communicate/their vibe. Yes, that sounds like heeby jeeby bullshit, and no, I'm not attacking Ed whatsoever. Just using him as an example. However, as much as I wanted and CHOSE to believe in the the great Oden, every time he opened his mouth I knew he didn't have the heart for this game and would never be great. I do believe this - injuries or not, Oden would never have lived up to his potential. He hates basketball. Fact. And I'm done with the whole "we're cursed" with injury shit. Didn't Blazers management see Oden's complete lack of interest in Basketball? I did! I blame ALL OF THIS on Paul Allen. I'll tell you what - if Olshey shits the bed and makes egregious decisions, there will be a complete revolt against Paul Allen. PA is critical from a financial POV, but crippling from a directional POV. We are in absolute purgatory until PA is gone. Hard part is this - will PA's replacement take us to heaven or take us to hell? Scary. Could go either way. And the consequences of "going to hell" are monumentally bad. Sonics bad.
