I agree with Thibbs, play Rose and play him now.let him .earn a check, if you get injured so be it..that's why you're insured to the hilt. Insurance probably pays for a large chunk of his salary when he's down. Rose ain't getting younger. I don't think he'll ever regain his old form again. Now he looks scared on the court

Have the Bulls already used their amnesty? It seems like Rose is done. Another flash in the pan career.

Saw this years ago. He was never skilled enough to make a come back. He always rode athleticism over skill. Just like Roy it was never going to work out for him after his first major injury.

Rose's contract was signed under the new CBA. The Bulls couldn't have used amnesty on him if they had it available.

Bring him in as the sixth man like we did with Kaman, less minutes would hopefully make him last longer.

8 games instead of 4 isn't "longer" enough.

He played 9 last night... He'd be a decent end of the rotation player

    Yeah...

The difference here is Lillard plays like an old man... Roy actually was an old man.

Yeah, Brandon Roy and Tony Parker make it tough to predict much about career longevity merely based on style of play. And no, Parker plays nothing like Lillard and Curry. He's every bit as frenetic as Rose and Westrbook, just not physically overpowering like them.

He absolutely did. Maybe not in the traditional sense, but his entire game was predicated on his first step (athleticism). Once he lost that he didn't have anything going for him because he refused to learn how to play off the ball.
