OT: Russell Westbrook knee surgery

    It sounds like repair takes a lot longer to recover from than removal, so most people opt for the quick fix? How long until the removal becomes known as Brandon Roy Surgery, i.e. Tommy John Surgery?

    Durant is on a mission, and it's not like he's getting a bunch of assists. San Antonio is still going to beat them, though, because of Tony Parker and Manu Ginobli.

    Westbrook tried to steal a ball when Lin was calling a timeout, it just seems like a freak injury. The contact didn't look that bad, Wade gets hurt on stuff that doesn't seem that serious as well.

    I guess it is a corny play but nothing malicious I thought.
    Well that's not true, Wade is better than Westbrook and he could be out and injured for a while. Bosh was out last year. ;]

    They also didn't have to trade Harden.

    I understand you think it was a bad idea, but the contact does not look that horrific. It doesn't look like one of those end of the year injuries.

    Larry Sanders falling on Battier was scarier looking. He got up, Tom Brady is what I think of when I think of a traditional ligament tear.
