A couple guys I work with were stranded on I-84 and Hwy 26 until around 1 am. Management offered them to stay in a hotel, both refused. They wanted to sleep in their own bed.
The thing is, I mentioned my car, but really it's not the car, the studs, the chains or anything else you can do, grab or prep for, that comes even remotely close to being as valuable as common sense.
I was out driving around 11pm last night. It wasnt too bad. I still went 25 to 30 mph. The problem is the morons that get courage and were driving 50 mph when there obviously is still a bunch of ice patches.
