For his body weight, that's actually closer to 6-7 beers or shots but I got your point.

I would take him in a heart beat. Especially in a year when LA is in the wind. LA stats that he's going to stay but then again it wouldn't be abnormal for a player with LA's tenure to leave a city in chase of a ring to make his legacy better. I think it would be wise to have that insurance policy at the very least. In regards to him urinating on himself, I have seen on cops (When doing a DUII arrest) where police constantly refuse to allow a person to use a bathroom to urinate. To me, considering the person is now in police custody, the police should have to respect the persons need to urinate. I would be surprised if this issue hasn't been in the court system under a civil complaint. If not, it should be.

Yes, I was joking. I don't condone driving stoned, alcohol is just really really bad.

And how exactly do we get him and why now? Monroe considers himself a max contract player. He reportedly told Detroit he wouldn't sign a max extension with them this summer. He accepted the qualifying offer, which means he'll be a UFA next July and can sign anywhere. Of course, if we somehow get him now, we would have his Bird rights, which basically gives us the opportunity to overpay him more than anyone else.

No thanks. I'd rather put all our eggs into resigning Aldridge. If he doesn't resign here, then we look at other options. I think adding a player like Monroe, who is also in a contract year and will be bitching about PT if he isn't starting, sends the wrong message to Aldridge - that he is expendable. And I think that kind of disrespect is exactly the kind of thing that would cause him to sign elsewhere.

Look what the stinkin cops did. They made him solve a third grade subtraction problem, forced him to repeat aphabetic progressive patterns and assumed he could not walk straight if he was on a hill. They probably sucker punched him, called a reporter to blast his name as a urination expert all over the media. That may be one possibility and if he is offered 60K a year we should take him.
