No, the other games will be on NBATV, maybe even ours. See what happens is each team can broadcast their games like the regular season, but that can be costly. The usual way is to have one broadcast come out of an event "CLEAN", meaning no announcers or graphics. That feed gets shot out to whatever team back in their home market pays for it. Then that team, the Blazers for example, will put their graphics and announcers over the feed then send it out to their local market. This is done all the time for major sporting events like the NBA Finals, or Olympics. This is called a world feed. I want to say that MSG is covering the Knicks game and that's it.
I clicked on that at 11:20 pm Pacific Time. Boston 70, OKC 59. They're repeating the games. They just said that tomorrow, the 1st game starts at 10 am PT and the 4th (last) game starts at 4 pm PT.
I wish brother! Actually I am working for the Yankees from Thursday-Sunday up in Seattle. For the Blazer games we will be doing the broadcasts out of the Rose Garden, I'm working the last 5. Maybe next time!!!
How is he your boy? he played for Hapoel Galil Eliyon this season, in Israel, was terriffic to start the season, got weaker when they brought another PG (Gal Meckel) but eventualy they meshed at the right time and both led the team to beating Maccabi in the championship game and winning the title. (This message was written in response to Zagsfan about Jeremy Pargo, the quick-reply thing isn't that great...)
I'm going to Vegas next week. Question: do I need to get my tickets advance or can I get them at the door?
They are always tickets available at the box office down there. Save yourself the service charge IMHO.
going on Sunday? I'll probably just get them at the box office...was going to do online but they added a bunch of fees to buy them online!
Ok so my scouting report so far: Turner: Looks good so far, very strong player. Needs more range, but has good form so that should come easy. Favors: Good player but has been in foul trouble. 6 fouls in one half of one game I watched. Can hit the hook shot with either hand, and has range. He was able to physically dominate the boards at times, but not all the time. I am not sure if he was just picking his moments, or it was depending on who he was playing against. Paul George: This kid has been an absolute pest as a defender so far. His jump shot seems to still be falling a bit short for the NBA 3 right now though, a lot of front rim shots from deep. He seems to have an excellent handle and the ability to make decisions in the open court. Damion James: Reminds me a ton of a right handed version of Jerry Stackhouse, and I don't think that in a bad way. This kid can score, and is athletic. He has a scorers mentality and is very agressive, getting to the line a lot. If he is missing he just keeps on gunning.
Hopefully HCP will put in a good word and some of the practices will be taped and posted online. I'd like to see Babbitt in action
After passing on the local boy TWICE, Knicks fans are probably screaming! They certainly were on draft night.
I don't agree, he turns over the ball a lot. He has a lot of skills, but he also appears careless and out of control, much like many young players do. He may pan out well after getting some run and learning to cut those turnovers down.
Today Pendergraph was on Wheels @ Work and he sounds like a loose cannon, but in a good way. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Jeff hazed rookies like Charles Oakley
