I know you're not 100% serious, but I believe NY has his early bird rights. So we would be restricted in how much we can offer him. The Knicks would be able to match also.

Well, he was signed to a cheap 2 year deal by the warriors after going undrafted in 2010. GS would've had his early bird rights, But GS waived him. And then Houston picked him up off waivers, but then later waived him. So because NY claimed him off waivers, they now own his early bird rights, I think. So we can't throw max money at him. Drats!
