this is really something pretty amazing 27pts 11ast (8to...) but hit the gamewinner too - what can ya say ?!?
The legend continues... There is no way he can sustain what he's doing right now, but I do hope he ends up with a long, productive career and doesn't end up being a Bob Hurricane Hazle type flash in the pan (google it; I'm really dating myself, but I had his baseball card when I was a kid). BNM
Haven't looked back through the thread, but did anyone by chance hear the Mike and Mike song about Lin? Linsane in the membrane? Outstanding
I ran across this synopsis of Lin's situation relative to free agency and the Knicks' being able to re-sign him: http://knickerblogger.net/finally-a-definitive-answer-on-jeremy-lins-contract-status/ Backloaded contract offer, anyone (Blazers)?
doing it again. 9 assists and 1 turnover in the first half. SAC has been trapping him and he's making the smart pass.
Yeahhhh...no, not a good idea. What should happen, though, is that Blake Griffin should opt out of the rookie/sophomore game, and Lin should be selected to replace him there.
While watching that I was thinking; "This Knicks team is not gonna be as good when Carmelo comes back". Maybe I'm wrong about that, but think what a deep, talented team they would be if they still had Gallinari, Mosgov and the draft picks. And if they had traded Felton to Portland and got Miller and a draft pick, they would really have been in good shape! Yeh, yeh, I know, if they had not made the trade they might have kept Felton and never signed Lin; so who knows?
Rookie-sophomore game is no longer East vs West, so conference shouldn't matter. As for a PG replacing a PF--absolutely.
