    Hello darkness, my old friend
Denver is trading 5 months of Anthony for 5 years or so of Favors and Favors will cost far less over those five years.

Considering that Denver knows they can't keep Anthony, and everyone else knows it, I think Favors is a very good return. He gives them a chance of a future star, locked in for four-plus seasons.

I wasn't just saying it's better than him leaving for nothing...I was noting the value of how many years of team control Favors represents and the low cost of those years. Both factors have value, if Favors plays well.

Hopefully he goes to the Nets although it doesn't really matter. Stars have career highs against the Knicks, they're simply not constructed right.

They play D'Antoni ball. Defense is non-existant.

Woj doesn't know what he's talking about and is just tweeting that to make KP look bad!

Regardless of my feelings toward the Thuggets, as a part-time Mile High resident, I hate what La La is doing regarding Melo. She's the Yoko Ono of the NBA. There are a lot of fans here who love Carmelo and he's treating them like dirt.

That style of play is fun, but won't get you far in the playoffs. Then again, Nate style is boring as fuck, and it won't get you very far in the playoffs either? I'd rather have the entertaining brand of losing basketball personally.

They are playing nicely. They've also had the easiest schedule in the NBA thus far.

I'm just wondering, but who's your ideal coach?

I think the chances are really good that happens. The guy literally can stumble into a double double.

You haven't been paying much attention, then. Anthony has made it clear all along that he wants to return to NEW YORK, where he's from. The Nets will be playing in Brooklyn, NEW YORK, in two seasons. Hence, he will get his dream of playing in New York.

I am hoping that Carmello rejects the trade. I think that if Carmello rejects the trade, NJ might be open to trading Favors to somebody else. Maybe if we are extremely fortunate, that team could be us.

It is clear that their plan right now involves adding Carmello to the current team and stirring. If he turns them down so he can go to the Knicks on his own terms, that build is "out the window". Avory Johnson has little patience for young players, and they have already tried a few times to trade Favors this season, so it is obvious to me that they don't value him super highly. We 2 experienced PF that are the types Avory Johnson would rather have than a rookie. My guess with Favors is he will take a little bit of time to get going, but when he does get going, he will be superior to any PF we have now. The guy can literally stumble into a double double. We get players traded from this team only to go elsewhere and turn into excellent players all the time. I don't see any reason why for once, it can't be the other way around.

They're offering to trade him if they get Carmelo Anthony in return. I don't see them making a similar deal for Aldridge.

I don't agree. They were fielding offers for trading him before the possibility for Carmello came up. The key I believe is, trading for him before he gets too much playing time. They aren't really high on him right now. But once he starts, I am guessing that relucatance goes away. The window is small. The Blazers would have to compete with other teams to deal for him. But it doesn't mean we can't pull it off.

I haven't seen or heard a single trade mention with him outside of Carmelo. Got a link to some of those they were considering?
