Denver is going to be really good this year. Crap. I wish we had Billups.

The Blazers better bring their A game tomrrow night. Yesterday's sloppy performance won't do against Denver, I think, though we do have home court advantage and the Nuggets will be getting into Portland at around 3 AM.

An Australian fan did that to the England team before the fourth Ashes Test (cricket) earlier this year.

Set off the fire alarm at their hotel at 4:00AM, causing them to have to stand around outside the hotel for 20 minutes.

England played like crap the next day, and Australia went on to win the match.

After watching the game last night it became apparent to me that the first thing the Blazers should do when Ty Lawson comes into the game is post him up about 8 times in a row with Andre Miller. The Jazz let him run roughshod all over them last night, and when they finally did post him up, it worked great, but they were already down a dozen points. He is fast and will give the Blazer guards problems containing him. The best bet is to get him into foul trouble ASAFP. The Blazers should attack Billups with Roys size at SG the same way. Don't let him get going, make him defend, and get him into foul trouble trying to handle Roy by creating contact in the paint.

This is where I think Batum will be sorely missed.

Got to start out with Webster on Mello, along with Mello's skills, he is big and strong for his position. He will wear Brandon down . . . and quite frankly Brandon can't handle him. Use Webster with quick double teams.

Another interesting matchup will be Oden on Nene. This is a tough one for Oden. I want to see him guard Nene staight up, but I could see Nene drawing quick fouls on Oden. Should be a good test for Oden.
