    I'd agree with this, I think a :

    LA - LA - MEM - LA - LA

Is the best Memphis could hope for. Memphis has never ever won a playoff GAME in their history.

yep Baby steps lol. I guess some people like to just get ahead of themselves because of their hatred for another team.

Love how you ignore the end of an 8 game road trip.

I'd love to see Memphis beat us again this year. It won't happen.

LMAO Memphis has our number? They beat us once, dude. And we won't be in trouble if we meet you in the playoffs. You guys won't be us @ STAPLES, which you'll have to. You need to worry about securing a playoff spot, first.

What does Memphis beating us have to do with playing @ the Rose Garden?

Cleveland has to get out of the east, first. They likely will, but Boston still has a lot of time left to get healthy and Orlando plays them really tough.

We played 8 road games in 13 days. When you're on the road that long, you're going to get flat. It had more to do with that than it did with the game being the end of a back to back.

Again, Memphis only beat us by two.

I guarantee you won't see Kobe miss 5 FT's again this year, either.

I wouldn't guarantee that until Kobe's finger is better.

Let's not make this Laker loss anything more than what it was. This was a classic trap game for the Lakers. They came off an emotional road win against Boston on Sunday and were flat last night against a talented, young team that plays tough at home. It happens all the time in the NBA.

dude with a lot of Blazer fans.. A Laker loss is as big as a playoff win for us. Its sad and embarrassing for me personally, as a Blazer fan. But this isnt the place where a Laker fan will be downplayed lol.

First, unless Kobe is injured, the Grizz aren't beating the Lakers in a play-off series. It just ain't happening.

However, the fact the the Grizz have never won a play-off game is ancient history and irrelevant. When the Blazers won the championship in 1977 they had never even played a play-off game prior to that season and had never won more than 37 regular season games. None of the guys on the current Memphis roster played for the Grizz back when they got swept in the first round three straight years. In fact, back then their best player was a certain soft 7' tall Spaniard.

The current Grizz team has enough talent to win a game or two against any opponent, and to win a series if they get a high enough seed and a favorable match-up (NOT the Lakers).

this is true and is fair to point out but only if earlier in the season you would also have pointed out that the lakers had an inflated record due to their large percentage of home games.

I don't understand why people are surprised. Zach has always been a beast in the post. Marc Gasol has become a much better player than projected. Thabeet is rugged. Memphis is a whole lot of trouble down low. Just because historically they've been a shitty franchise doesn't mean they're not a damn good team right now.

How much better would Memphis have been if they selected Tyreke Evans?
